Gemeinlebarn

Gemeinlebarn is an Austrian village in the community of Traismauer in the district of St. Pölten, Lower Austria. Its population is about 1000 inhabitants. Its Old High German name is Lewary and so most of the native "Gemeinlebarner" (=citizen of Gemeinlebarn in German) call it Lewing. The village is placed in the west of "Tullner Becken" (=the lowland around the city of Tulln and its surrounding).

Lower Austria

Lower Austria is the northeasternmost state of the nine states in Austria. The capital of Lower Austria since 1986 is Sankt Pölten, the most recently designated capital town in Austria. The capital of Lower Austria had formerly been Vienna, even though Vienna is not officially part of Lower Austria. With a land area of 19,186 km² and a population of 1.612 million people, it is the largest state in Austria, and in terms of population second only to the federal state of Vienna.

Kamp

The Kamp is a 153 km long river in northern Austria, left tributary of the Danube. The source of the Kamp is on the border of Lower Austria and Upper Austria, near the town Liebenau, in the Mühlviertel. It flows generally east through Rapottenstein (where it receives its tributary Kleine Kamp), Zwettl, Krumau am Kamp and Gars am Kamp. The Kamp flows into the Danube near Grafenwörth, east of Krems.

GK Dürnrohr

The GK Dürnrohr (German abbreviation for Gleichstromkurzkupplung Dürnrohr, in English meaning Dürnrohr HVDC-Back-to-Back Station) was a high-voltage direct current back-to-back scheme west of Dürnrohr substation, which was used for the energy exchange between Austria and Czechoslovakia between 1983 and 1996. The installation is no longer in use. The GK Dürnrohr had a nominal transmission rating of 550 MW. The nominal value of the DC voltage in the intermediate circuit was 145 kV.

Traisen (river)

The Traisen is a river in Lower Austria. The Traisen is formed from the rivers Rechte Traisen and Unrechte Traisen. It is a tributary of the Danube in the Lower Austrian region of Mostviertel. Its two sources begin near St. Aegyd am Neuwalde and Türnitz respectively. After meeting, they flow through the municipalities of Türnitz, Lilienfeld, Traisen, Wilhelmsburg, and St. Pölten, before meeting the Danube at Traismauer.
