Rural Municipality of Rhineland

Rhineland is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. It is located in the southern part of the province, along its border with the state of North Dakota in the United States. A population of 4,125 persons was reported in the 2006 Census, a slight decrease from the 4,183 reported in the 2001 Census. The towns of Altona, Gretna, and Plum Coulee are all located geographically within the municipality, although they are all administratively separate entities.

Neubergthal, Manitoba

It was founded in 1876 as a Mennonite community with settlers who came from the Bergthal Colony in Russia. Rural Municipality of Montcalm

Montcalm is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. It is located in the southern part of the province, along its border with the state of North Dakota in the United States. The 2006 Census reported a population of 1,317 persons, a decrease from the 1,400 reported in the 2001 Census. The town of Emerson lies at the southeast corner of the municipality, although it is an administratively separate entity.

St. Jean Baptiste, Manitoba

St. Jean Baptiste is a small community in Manitoba. It is located along Highway 75, 40 km north of Emerson at the United States border, and 60 km south of the city of Winnipeg, in the Rural Municipality of Montcalm. The community has a distinct French Canadian flavour. The area was first settled by Métis families from St. Norbert, Manitoba and, in 1878, French Canadian families from the United States arrived in the area and purchased land.
