T.G. Smith Centre

The T.G. Smith Centre is an ice hockey complex in Steinbach, Manitoba. It features two indoor arenas and an outdoor ice surface. The main arena in the complex is the 1,200 seat Centennial Arena, which was built in the 1960s. After the second indoor arena was added in the 1990s, the entire complex was named after the late T.G. Steinbach (electoral district)

Steinbach is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1989, and has formally existed since the provincial election of 1990. For the 2011 election, Steinbach was redistributed again, it was also contracted for the second consecutive time as population densities in the city and area grew. Steinbach is located in southeastern Manitoba.

Friedensfeld, Manitoba

Friedensfeld is a settlement in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie, Manitoba, Canada. It is located south of Steinbach along Provincial Road 303, one mile east of Provincial Trunk Highway 12. Friedensfeld was formerly the site of a school. The Friedensfeld Community Centre, established in 1967, features a large community hall and baseball diamonds. The community is home to the Friedensefeld Sultans fastball and baseball teams.
