Saugeen Kame Terraces

The Saugeen Kame Terraces is a 431 hectare provincially-significant Earth Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in Ontario, Canada. It is in Grey County (in what was once Egremont Township), bounding the eastern and southern shores of Wilder Lake, a kettle lake, and is part of the larger Singhampton Kame Moraine formation. It is a kame formation that is the result of glacial retreat sediment deposition about 14,000 years ago.

Allan Park, Ontario

Allan Park, in Grey County, Ontario, Canada is the site of Telesat Canada's Allan Park Earth Station. Allan Park is located on Grey County Road 4 between Durham to the east and Hanover to the west, and north of Ayton. Camp Creek, a tributary of the Rocky Saugeen River, flows through the settlement. Allan Park is home to the Allan Park Conservation Area, which includes over 16 kilometres of trail systems.

Bentinck, Ontario

Bentinck was a township of Grey County, Ontario, Canada from 1850 to 2000. In 2000 it ceased to formally exist as it was amalgamated with other municipalities into the Township of West Grey. Although it is no longer formally a township, local sideroads and concessions (and thus, local addresses) are still all named after the defunct township.

Ayton, Ontario

Ayton is a community in the municipality of West Grey, Grey County, Ontario, Canada. Formerly the seat of local government for the disbanded Normanby Township, it is best described as a rural village nestled on the banks of the South Saugeen River and the centre of a prosperous farming area. Although mostly a farming community, Ayton does have an arena, LCBO Outlet, tavern, Lutheran church and a public school.
