Chelton Beach Provincial Park

Chelton Beach Provincial Park is a provincial park in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Located on the once farm of Louis Pearson of the aforementioned province, Chelton Beach is the chief tourism center of the community of Chelton. The surrounding area is heavily poulated with cottages of which most, if not all, are for seasonal use only. It is located approximately 15 minutes by car from the Confederation Bridge though quite far from any other metropolitan center.

Borden-Carleton

Borden-Carleton is a Canadian town located on the south shore of Prince Edward Island, fronting on the Northumberland Strait. The town was created through a merger on April 12, 1995 of the original port town of Borden (an incorporated town) and the farming community of Carleton. The town of Borden opted to demote its status to a village in light of a declining tax base with the pending completion of the Confederation Bridge and the closure of the Marine Atlantic ferry service.
