Beaver Hills are a range of hills located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The city of Yorkton, Saskatchewan is located approximately 35 miles southwest of the hills. The Whitesand River, a tributary of the Assiniboine River originates in the Beaver Hills. The two rivers join near Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Large areas of native grasslands and shrubs can still be found in the Beaver Hills region, and along the Whitesand River. The hills are well-adapted for stock raising.
