Blaabjerg

Until January 1, 2007, Blaabjerg was a municipality in Ribe County on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 254 km², and had a total population of 6,509 (2005). Its latest mayor was Preben Olesen. The site of its municipal council was the town of Nørre Nebel.

Nymindegab

Nymindegab lies in Southwest Jutland, Denmark, and is a former fishing village by the former outflow at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord. In the summer, it is a well-attended tourist town with a permanent population of 257 (1 January 2011). It is located in Varde Municipality and belongs to Region of Southern Denmark. The town is situated at the southern end of the isthmus of Holmsland Dunes, which demarcates the fjord from the North Sea.

Nymindegab Museum

Nymindegab Museum is a local history and art museum located in Nymindegab in Varde Municipality, Denmark. The museum contains an archeological collection with finds from the excavation at Lønne including textile remnants and burial gifts. From Viking times one can find, amongst other things, posts from a bridge in Nybro from the year 761. From more recent times there are exhibitions on navigation, fishing, wrecks and rescuing, and from the very latest times, tourism on the west coast.
