Gedser Odde

Gedser Odde on the island of Falster in the Baltic Sea is Denmark's southernmost point. The terminal moraine from Idestrup through Skelby to Gedser is part of the maximum glaciation line across Falster, from Orehoved to Gedser. Fronted by low cliffs, the ridge, 5–7 m (&#160) high, continues underwater a further 18 km south-east to Gedser Rev. Sydstenen (the south stone) marks the southernmost point.

Marielyst

Marielyst is a small town and seaside resort some 12 kilometres south of Nykøbing on the Danish island of Falster. Its long sandy beach has led to an extensive summer house development with some 6,000 holiday homes. As of 2012, it has a population of 676.

Sydfalster

Until January 1, 2007 Sydfalster was a municipality in the former Storstrøm County on the southern end of the island of Falster in south Denmark.

Væggerløse

Væggerløse is a town some 8 kilometres south of Nykobing Falster on the Danish island of Falster. It has large housing developments and until 2006 was the administrative centre for the now defunct Sydfalster Municipality. As of 2012, it has a population of 1,693. Standing on a hilltop, Væggerløse Church dates from the late Romanesque period. It has early 16th century frescos depicting the Supper at Emmaus.
