Antsokiyana Gemza

Antsokiyana Gemza ("Antsokiya and Gemza") is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. This woreda is partly named for one of the districts of the province or kingdom of Shewa, Antsokia. Part of the Semien Shewa Zone, Antsokiyana Gemza is bordered on the south by Efratana Gidim, on the southwest by Menz Gera Midir, on the west by Geshe, and on the north and east by the Oromia Zone. The administrative center of this woreda is Mekoy; other towns in Antsokiyana Gemza include Majete.

Geshe (woreda)

Geshe is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Located at the eastern edge of the Ethiopian highlands in the Semien Shewa Zone, Geshe is bordered on the south by the Menz Gera Midir, on the west and north by the Debub Wollo Zone, and on the east by Antsokiyana Gemza; the Wanchet River defines its western boundary. The name of this woreda is coming from the name of a district of the former province or kingdom of Shewa, Gishe. The administrative center of Geshe is Rabel.

Abole

Abole (also known as Obole) is a town 30 km northwest of Degehabur, in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. On April 24, 2007 an attack on an oil facility in the town by the rebel ONLF group left 74 people dead, including Chinese nationals.

Majete is a town in northeastern Ethiopia. Located in the Semien Shewa Zone of the Amhara Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:10|44|N|39|50|E||| | |name= }}. Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Karakore has an estimated total population of 10,859 of whom 5,553 were males and 5,306 were females. The 1994 census reported this town had a total population of 6,247 of whom 2,922 were males and 3,325 were females.

Chefe Golana Dewerahmedo ("Chefe Gola and Dewerahmedo") was one of the 105 woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia.
