Shoranur Junction railway station

Shoranur Junction is the largest railway station in Kerala located at Shoranur, Palakkad District, coming under the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway. The station stands at the junction of four railway lines, one from each direction. The Nilambur line from the north, Palakkad line from the east, Eranakulam line from the south and Mangalore line from the west.

Shoranur

Shoranur is a town and a municipality in Palakkad district, in the Indian state of Kerala, located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River. It covers 32.28 km. Wadakkanchery Railway Station falls between Mulankunnathukavu Railway Station and Mullurkara Railway Station in the busy Shoranur-Cochin Harbour section in Thrissur district. Ottapalam

Ottapalam is a town in Palakkad district of Kerala state in India. It is also the headquarters of the taluk of the same name. Situated on the banks of the Bharathappuzha river (also called the Nila or Perar), it has a rich cultural heritage and has played host to many historic events.
