Langvatnet (Rana)
Langvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. The 26.38-square-kilometre lake lies just northwest of the town of Mo i Rana. The lake flows out into the river Langvassåga just north of Mo i Rana Airport, Røssvoll. The sculpture is 11 metres tall, weighs 60 tonnes, and according to Lonely Planet is "forever up to his knees in water, turns his back on the town and gazes resolutely out over the fjord".
