Langvatnet (Rana)

Langvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. The 26.38-square-kilometre lake lies just northwest of the town of Mo i Rana. The lake flows out into the river Langvassåga just north of Mo i Rana Airport, Røssvoll. The lake used as a reservoir for the Langvatn hydroelectric power plant in Ytteren, just down the hill from the lake.

Ytteren Church is a parish church in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Ytteren, a northern suburb of Mo i Rana. The church is part of the Nord-Rana parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The brick church was built in 1977, and it was designed by the architect Nils Toft. The church seats about 460 people.

Selfors Church

Selfors Church is a rented parish church (owned by the Catholic church) in the municipality of Rana in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Selfors. The church is part of the Nord-Rana parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The concrete, wood, and glass church was built in 1971 for the Catholic Church in Rana and has been leased by the Nord-Rana parish since 1976.

Havmannen

Havmannen, or Havmann is a granite stone sculpture by the English artist Antony Gormley located in the city of Mo i Rana in Northern Norway. The sculpture stands proud in the "Ranfjord" in the city of Mo i Rana, which is often referred to in Norway as "Polarsirkelbyen" . The sculpture is 11 metres tall, weighs 60 tonnes, and according to Lonely Planet is "forever up to his knees in water, turns his back on the town and gazes resolutely out over the fjord".
