Castle Ashby & Earls Barton railway station

Castle Ashby & Earls Barton railway station is a former railway station in Northamptonshire on the former Northampton and Peterborough Railway, a line which connected Peterborough and Northampton. In 1846 the line, along with the London and Birmingham, became part of the London and North Western Railway. At grouping in 1923 it became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway.

Yardley Chase is a fairly large forest in Northamptonshire, which consists of two similar shaped forests, which are each about 2 miles long, and 1 mile wide, in places. The forests are about 3 miles south of Yardley Hastings in Northamptonshire, and about the same distance north of Olney in Buckinghamshire.

All Saints' Church, Earls Barton

After the Danish raids on England, Medehampstede Abbey, a few miles away from Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, was rebuilt in about AD 970 to become Peterborough. It is generally accepted that All Saints' Church, Earls Barton was built around this period at the end of the tenth century. Even though only the tower survives from the original church at Earls Barton, this is one of the best examples of later Anglo-Saxon architecture.

Billing Aquadrome

Billing Aquadrome is a leisure park in Great Billing, in the eastern district of Northampton, England. Facilities within the 235-acre (1 km²) park, which is based around various mature gravel pits, include a caravan site, marina and funfair. It is also home to a variety of shows throughout the year, which are often car or motorsport related, such as the world's largest annual Land Rover show and the American Car Show. It also hosts the Northampton Balloon Festival.

Northampton Balloon Festival

The Northampton Balloon Festival is an annual hot air balloon festival held in the English town of Northampton. The original festival was held in The Racecourse and managed by the Borough Council, and took place over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday in mid-August. The main features of the festival were the twice-daily hot air balloon lifts and a balloon glow, but other attractions included trade stalls, live music and arena entertainment.
