Queen Mother Reservoir

The Queen Mother Reservoir lies between the M4 and the M25 to the west of London. It is 475 acres in size or about 1 km in diameter - making it one of the largest inland areas of water in Southern England. It is managed by Thames Water. This is one of a number of reservoirs to the west of London and was built in 1976. Its water is pumped from the River Thames nearby.

Horton, Buckinghamshire

Horton is a hamlet in the parish of Ivinghoe, in Buckinghamshire, England. The name Horton is a common one in England, meaning "dirty or muddy farm". Although in the parish of Ivinghoe, the hamlet is nearer to Cheddington with its shops and churches, so that is the main village to which most residents of Horton feel most attached. ULTra (rapid transit)

ULTra (Urban Light Transit) is a personal rapid transit system developed by ULTra PRT, formerly known as Advanced Transport Systems. The first public system using ULTra, at London's Heathrow Airport, is now open to the public. The ULTra PRT system began passenger trials at London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5, in October 2010 and opened for full passenger service 22 hours a day, 7 days a week, in May 2011.

The Waterside building in Harmondsworth, London, is the international head office of British Airways. The building, which cost £200 million, is located on Harmondsworth Moor, northwest of Heathrow Airport, between the M4 and the M25 motorways. Wraysbury Reservoir

The Wraysbury Reservoir is a water supply reservoir for London lying just west of the M25 near the village of Wraysbury and Heathrow airport. The reservoir was begun in 1967 and completed in 1970 with a capacity of 34,000 million litres. The reservoir is owned and operated by Thames Water and 400 million litres of water are pumped daily from an inlet at Datchet on the River Thames. A neighbouring reservoir is the King George VI Reservoir, opened in 1947, which is supplied from Hythe End.
