Stratton Park

Stratton Park, in East Stratton, Hampshire, was an English country house, built on the site of a grange of Hyde Abbey after the dissolution of the monasteries; it was purchased with the manor of Micheldever in 1546 by Thomas Wriothesley, 1st Earl of Southampton. The last earl of Southampton made Stratton Park one of his chief seats, and his son-in-law, Sir William Russell, pulled down part of the hamlet and added it to his deer park in the 1660s.

River Dever

The River Dever is a river in the English county of Hampshire. It is a tributary of the River Test. The river rises alongside the A33 at around grid reference SU535402 and flows west through the villages of Micheldever, Weston Colley, Stoke Charity, Wonston, Sutton Scotney, Upper and Lower Bullington, Barton Stacey, and flows into the Test near Wherwell.

Micheldever railway station

Micheldever railway station, in the village of Micheldever Station, serves Micheldever (approximately 2 miles to the south) and the surrounding area in Hampshire, England. The station is on the South Western Main Line, 58 miles south west of London Waterloo towards Southampton and is managed by South West Trains. The station is near the A303 Basingstoke to Andover road approximately 2.5 miles from the village. It was originally called "Andover Road" until Andover got its own station.

The Grange, Northington

The Grange is a 19th century country house—mansion and English landscape park near Northington in Hampshire, England. It is currently owned by the Lord Ashburton family. English Heritage have a guardianship deed on the Grade I listed building, with the gardens and monument's exterior open to the public.
