The Bull Hotel, Sedbergh

The Bull Hotel, formerly The Black Bull Hotel, is a 17th century coaching inn in Sedbergh, Cumbria. It is located in a narrow passage parallel with the Main Street of Sedbergh and contains 14 rooms. Historically the inn has been used for conferences, particularly by science associations and groups such as geologists and naturalists since at least the 1880s.

River Dee (Lune)

The River Dee is a river running through the extreme south east of Cumbria, a part of the Craven region traditionally part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. The river rises at Dent Head Farm on the Dales Way, formed from several smaller streams emanating from Blea Moor Moss, the River Dee makes its way northward past Stone House to Cowgill, where it turns left into Dentdale. In Dentdale, it picks up the waters of Deepdale Beck, travelling north from Whernside before passing Dent and Gawthrop.

Briggflatts Meeting House

Briggflatts Meeting House is a Friends Meeting House of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), near Sedbergh in Northwest England, built in 1675. It is the subject of Basil Bunting's poem “At Briggflatts meetinghouse” (1975). Most references use the spelling "Briggflatts", with two 'g's and two 't's. This is the spelling Bunting used for his poem. However, some sources give the spelling of the meeting house with a single 'g': "Brigflatts" or with a single 't': "Briggflats".

St Gregory's Church, Vale of Lune

St Gregory's Church, Vale of Lune, also known as Vale of Lune Chapel, is a redundant Anglican church situated on the A684 road about 1.5 miles to the west of Sedbergh, Cumbria, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
