Mountjoy Castle

Mountjoy Castle is situated near the village of Mountjoy, in Magheralamfield townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, on a hill overlooking Lough Neagh. It was built by Lord Mountjoy in 1602 and partly burned in 1643. It is a two-storey brick building and the lower storey is stone-faced on the outside. It consists of a central rectangular block with four spear-shaped angle towers with gun loops. The north west tower is partly demolished and the west curtain wall destroyed.

Ardboe O'Donovan Rossa GAC

Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Ard Bó Uí Dhonnabhain Rossa (Ardboe O'Donovan Rossa in English) is a club based in east County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, close to the shores of Lough Neagh. It and Moortown St. Malachy's both draw players from the same parish, Ardboe. The club was formed in 1947 but Gaelic games had existed under different banners from the early 20th century. The club has won a total of seven Tyrone Senior championships, the last in 1998 when they defeated Omagh.

Washing Bay

The Washing Bay is a small a bay on the south-west corner of Lough Neagh, in County Tyrone Northern Ireland. It touches the townlands of Aughamullan, which is in the civil parish of Clonoe, the barony of Dungannon Middle, and Dungannon Borough Council.

Moortown, County Tyrone

Moortown is a rural area in the north east of County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It lies on the western shores of Lough Neagh, beside Ballinderry and Ardboe. It is relatively close to the towns of Cookstown, Magherafelt and Dungannon. It is in Cookstown District Council area. Places of interest include Kinturk Cultural Centre, Coyles Cottage, the air-drome, the Battery Harbour and the Ardboe High Cross.

Hagan Park

Hagan Park is the home of IFA Championship team Coagh United. It is situated in the village of Coagh in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The ground was given to the club as a grant from the local Hagan family when Coagh United found themselves homeless, and much work has been carried out since. The main stand at Hagan Park seats 131 people in two rows of plastic seating while a third row behind is padded seating similar in style to seating which would be found in a pub or restaurant.
