Kennoway

Kennoway is a village in Fife, Scotland, near the larger population centres in the area of Leven and Methil. It is about three miles inland from the Firth of Forth, north of Leven. This position gave it importance in the old days while travelling by coach, for the stage road ran through Kennoway from the ferry at Pettycur, through Ceres, and on to St. Andrews.

Levenmouth

Levenmouth is a small conurbation on the north side of the Firth of Forth, on the east coast of Scotland. It consists of three coastal towns, eleven villages inland and smaller hamlets. The industrial towns of Buckhaven and Methil lie on the west bank of the River Leven, and the resort town of Leven is on the east bank. The "Bawbee Brig" links the two sides of the river. The area had an estimated population of 37,238 in 2006.

Milton of Balgonie Primary School

Milton of Balgonie's is a primary school in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland. Its original building was opened in 1823 with subsequent additions and extensions added in 1880,1924 & 1962. The school is situated off the bypass between Windygates and Glenrothes. The school's accommodation comprises one very large classroom where P1- P4 are taught and another classroom which accommodates P5 - P7. The original 1823 classroom now doubles as our hall and dining hall. The school playground is all-tarmac.

Star, Fife

Star (also known as Star of Markinch) is a small village in Fife, Scotland. The name star derives from the old Norse word - starr- for the type of grass that grows on boggy land. The area of land around the village has been and continues to be boggy with Star Moss, a raised bog to the north west of the village draining out to land to the north of the village. East of the village are two reservoirs, taking advantage of the already wet conditions.
