Stenton is a parish and village in East Lothian, Scotland. It is bounded on the north by parts of the parishes of Prestonkirk and Dunbar, on the east by Spott and on the west by Whittingehame. The name is said to be of Saxon derivation. The village has a number of houses, a school, and a church.

Pressmennan Lake
Pressmennan Lake is a lake in East Lothian in Scotland. It is an artificial reservoir constructed in 1819. It lies in a gully in the Lammermuir Hills, above the village of Stenton in East Lothian. It is roughly 2 kilometres in length but less than 100 metres broad. It is one of only a few bodies of water in Scotland known as lakes; the others include the Lake of Menteith, Lake of the Hirsel and Lake Louise (within the grounds of Skibo Castle).

East Linton
East Linton is a town in East Lothian, Scotland, situated on the River Tyne and A199 road five miles east of Haddington, with a population of 1,774. (In 1881 it had a population of 1,042). East Linton probably gets its name from the Linn (a waterfall) on the river next to the village, although Martine adds that it was called East Linton to distinguish it from West Linton in Peebleshire when the railways were built.
