Cilgerran Hundred

The Hundred of Cilgerran (often written "Kilgerran") was a hundred in the north of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was formed by the Act of Union of 1536 from the commote of the pre-Norman cantref of Emlyn included by the Act in Pembrokeshire and is otherwise called in Welsh Emlyn Is Cuch (Emlyn below the River Cuch), with the addition of the Cemais parish of Llantood. The area of the commote was about 106 km: that of the hundred was 113 km.

Clydau

Clydau (sometimes Clydaï or Clydey) is a village, parish, and community in the Hundred of Cilgerran in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village is a small group of houses around the parish church, 8 km southwest of Newcastle Emlyn and 13 km southeast of Cardigan. Although the village is tiny, the parish is large, encompassing several larger hamlets, the village of Tegryn, and a large number of scattered farms. The community consists essentially of the parishes of Clydey and West Cilrhedyn .

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Menevia is a Roman Catholic diocese in Swansea, Wales. It is one of three suffragan dioceses in the ecclesiastical province of Cardiff and is subject to the Archdiocese of Cardiff. Cemaes Rural District

Cemaes Rural District was an administrative subdivision of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was formed in 1934 by the amalgamation of St Dogmells RD and Llanfyrnach RD. It was administered from Newport, Pembrokeshire. It was abolished in 1974, when it was absorbed into the Preseli District of Dyfed.
