Preseli transmitting station

The Preseli transmitting station (also spelt Presely) is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility, situated close to the village of Crymych, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is owned and operated by Arqiva. It has a 235.4 metres high guyed steel lattice mast (just one foot taller than Britain's tallest skyscraper, 1 Canada Square).

Mynachlog-ddu

Mynachlog-ddu is a village, and community in the Preseli Hills, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The community also includes the parish of Llangolman. There are two places of worship in the village: the Anglican church of St. Dogfael (sometimes, Dogmael), and Bethel, the Baptist meeting house. The Welsh placename means "black monastic grange": before the Dissolution of the Monasteries, the parish belonged to St Dogmaels Abbey.

Cwmfelin Mynach

Cwmfelin Mynach is a tiny Carmarthenshire village. It has a population of only 64 residents. The river Gronw runs through the centre of the village under a stone bridge. In the medieval period the river was used to drive a corn mill. 'Cwmfelin Mynach' means Valley (cwm) of the Monks' (Mynach) Mill (Felin). It was founded in the 6th century by the Cistercian monks or Whitefriars. These monks gave their name to the nearby town, Whitland.

River Cleddau

The River Cleddau consists of the Eastern and Western Cleddau rivers in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. They unite to form the Daugleddau estuary, which forms the important harbour of Milford Haven. The name of the combined estuary – the Daugleddau – means “the two Cleddaus”.
